Hello,
I would like to know what options I have for backing up my VM's. We're currently vunerable because we're only backing up the files within the VM's (Primarily Windows OS's) but if the SAN goes down we're left with a real mess to get things up and going again.
Because we only have Vsphere 4.0 Standard, how can we backup the entire VM's easily?
What would be some alternatives and costs associated i.e. purchasing Essentials and Backup Exec etc?
Current setup is 2x IBM servers accessing IBM FC san with roughly 15vm's across both servers.
We will have more space on another SAN to backup the VM's, so I'd like to know what options we have with this scenario.
