I talked with Symantec Support because I'm received the follow error im my job backup (Backup Exec 2012):
An attempt to take a snapshot of a virtual machine failed because it was unable to quiesce an application.
The Symantec Support had a test with VMWare, he took a snapshot with Quiesce guest file system (Needs VMware Tools installed) marked. Follow the error after some minutes:
The guest OS has reported an error during quiescing. The error code was: 4 The error message was: Quiesce aborted.
Symantec said that the error is VMWare.
Somebody know this errors?
