I have a single ESXi vShpere host with VDR appliance configured and running. I do not have vCenter. I have the plugin installed in my vSphere client and I am able to configure it. I created a backup job and have scheduled it to run, however I get the following message in th events and the log
" Connected to ESX Server, automated backups will not be peformed."
Does VDR work when connected directly to an ESXi 4 host with no vCenter? If yes, what is my next step in troubleshooting this issue?
