Hey there,
after our upgrade to vsphere 5.1 / vCenter 5.1 we're trying to get rid of the old VDR Appliance and migrate to VDP.
So i deployed one VDP Appliance, shut down the old VDR, took a Snapshot and tried to attach the VDR to the VDP with the webinterface.
just right after i selected the VDR in the dropdown menue i got an error in the vcenter client.
the Log i collected from the VDP Appliance says:
Unable to attach VDR: Unable to attach VDR 'VDRQS01' to AVE 'VDP-QS_01': null
Any Hints regarding that? is it also necessary that the name of the VDP Applaince contains no spaces and special characters?
