Ok, we had VDP running for a while, but something happened and it screwed up, and attempting rollbacks was a complete and utter failure. So figured shouldn't be too hard to uninstall it and then start from scratch, it wasn't critical that we retained the existing backups. So went through, removed the plugin from vmware through the mob site, deleted the vdp vm, and went to try to deploy it new again. Now right after I start the deployment (after entering all the info about network settings and stuff), it comes back and fails with "Invalid configuration for device '3'". Did some searching, and so far haven't found anything that really seems to point me towards anything that can solve this issue for me, so figured I'd ask and see if anyone had any thoughts?
Small setup, VMWare Essentials Plus, runing 5.1, and the VDP I was trying to install was the last 5.1 version that was available. The vm for vdp used to reside on an iscsi mounted volume, and that's where I'm attempting to put it again.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Gary
