Hallo all,

I have successfuly performed a backups of 20+ VMs using VDP. The VM's are installed in a SAN. When I try to perform a restore of individual files (flr method), I get the message: "The VMDK filename is not valid or present. Verify that the proxy was correctly registered using the supported method in the documentation".

I would like to note that I was able to do this, only after I changed the time and date on the VDP I am unable to restore an individual file. In another forum site I read about checking and changing proxy information in an administration console, but it's not really clear where I should do that. Does anyone have an idea about this? This is the information I am refferring to:

go to administration

edit each proxy

Datastores tab - do the select all again or unselect all and pick just the ones you want

Groups tab - do the select all again

ok

Thank you,

Andre
