Could not connect requested vdp appliance

Hi,

I have vmware vsphere 5.1 deployed & i m using vdp 5.1 appliance for disk based backup & restore of vm's. Initially when i deployed vdp appliance it's working fine, the only issue i faced is finding out the correct time zone which in my case is Asia\Islamabad (UTC +5) & is'nt listed, so i selected Asia\Calcutta (UTC +5:30). After a week or so, i decommissioned one of the domain controller located at this respective site & wasn't able to login to vcenter neither from vsphere client nor web client. I somehow manage to login into vcenter by changing values pointing at old DC to the other valid one in vcenter SSO DB.

Now, i can't connect to the vdp appliance & getting the following error,

Could not connect to the requested VDP appliance.

The SSO server could not be found.  Please make sure your SSO configuration on the appliance is correct.

Would you like to be taken to the configuration UI now?

Further, i find the following vmware kb but i didn't have my time zone listed in vdp appliance configuration.

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2040991

When i ssh the vdp appliance the time is half an hour ahead(due to difference of time zone) as compared to vcenter or SSO server(which in my case is the same).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

M.A
