Full and incremental backup in VDP

Hi,

How to configure VDP backup for full and incremental level?

So, far I found there is no option for full Or incremental.

It is the retention period can determine the backup type?

I set retention daily,weekly,montly,yearly as 1,4,1,1.

Kindly advice me.
